Job description

We are looking for an experienced, skilled and highly motivated researcher with passion for innovation and technology to lead R&D projects.

If you’re passionate about applied research in the field of membrane technology and process engineering and want to help improve environmental footprint quality through innovative solutions, this is your chance!

As Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Design, manage and coordinate R&D projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring that deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.
  • Drafting tenders and contracts for a wide range of projects, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative proposals.
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to the Commercial Action Plan by identifying R&D opportunities for public and private organizations.
  • Participate in the technical execution of projects related to membrane-based separation processes.
  • Anticipating the sector’s needs and challenges by proposing innovative and adaptable solutions

Requirements

  • A recognized PhD in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
  • >5-year experience in chemical process engineering related to separation technologies, more precisely membrane technology.
  • Experience in project management (EU-H2020 and private national and international).
  • Experience in Research Centres/Industries is welcome.
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel as required by the project.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills. Proactive and results oriented.
  • Ability to anticipate the challenges and needs of the sector.
